The Pub at Penn Valley - September 3rd!

For the second run in a row we'll visit a bar that we haven't been to yet. Last week it was Mad Mex, next week it is The Pub of Penn Valley! Let's hope for good weather and a few beers outside on their patio!

Since we'll be running to the Pub of Penn Valley, it seems appropriate to run some of the route through the neighborhood of Penn Valley!  The route shown is a little over 3 miles.  As always, we'll meet up at the Narberth Train Station steps on the south side at 6:30 to begin! Runners and walkers of all paces and abilities are welcome!

Unsure if 3 miles is right for you? No problem, choose your own route and we'll meet you at the bar, no questions asked!

The Run to Mad Mex

It was a humid night, but we had a good turnout for our run to Mad Mex. A handful of runners and a few walkers finished the looping 3 mile course, to be rewarded with cold beers and tacos. Mad Mex is in a really great space in the Wynnewood Shopping Center. We huddled at one corner of the bar, so as not to stink up the whole place or sweat on any of the other customers.

The next Narberth Beer Runners run will take place on Wednesday, September 3rd.

The Route for August 20th!

As always, we'll meet at the Narberth Train Station, on the steps on the southside at 6:30 PM.  From there, we'll head over the painted bridge, do a loop around Nearberth, go up to Winsor, around Narbrook Park, through the apartments, down the trail, through Wynnewood Station and across Wynnewood at the light, around the parking lot and into Mad Mex!

The route is a little bit over three miles.

On Wednesday, August 20th, for the first time, Narberth Beer Runners will venture…outside of Narberth! Ok, its not very far outside of Narberth.  Right across the street in fact. We'll be checking out the new Mad Mex in the Wynnewood shopping center.

As always, runners should meet up at the steps on the south side of the Narberth train station at 6:30.  We'll do about a three mile route, hopefully to be posted prior to the run.

Post or no post...

There was no post about the previous run as I was away on vacation.  But always assume that there will be a run on the first and third Wednesday of every month, starting at the south steps of  the Narberth train station, starting at 6:30!
